ICC Macedonia is one of the supporters as a National Committee and we participated at the first webinar “Global Business Priorities – Marco-Economic Trends & the Boardroom Perspective”.
Our board representative Ms. Katerina Adziska Jovanoska was a speaker at the Webinar and delivered the key notes on how we can work towards economic growth. “We need the focus of our goals to be to support the knowledge and quality of products, but mostly to all the relevant institutions and parties to work on facilitation of the export”, said Ms. Adziska Jovanoska. The webinar was moderate by Mr. Paul Drechsler, Chair of ICC United Kingdom and the other speakers Mr. Vindi Banga, Partner, Clayton Dubilier & Rice (CD&R), Senior Independent Director; Ms. Katherine Bennett CBE, CEO, High Value Manufacturing; Dr. Mohamed Althaf, Director, Lulu Hypermarket and Yu Jianlong, Co-Chair, B20 Task Force for Trade & Investment and Secretary General, ICC China, gave tremendous contribution with their address and emphasize the need to strength the global trade and give the deserved important to the ICC COP.
The start of the week was with the welcome address of Mr. Chris Southworth Secretary General, ICC United Kingdom, afterwards with the Corporate Keynote from Mme. Chen Lifang Corporate Senior Vice President and Director of the Board, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd.

The International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Court) and ICC Macedonia in cooperation with the Macedonian Chambers of Commerce, invite you to attend an online event to launch the ICC 2021 Rules of Arbitration that the ICC Court unveiled on 1st of December 2020. This national launch invites companies and professional legal practitioners to be introduced with the new ICC Rules and the most important changes within the ICC Rules and in the ICC International Court of Arbitration practice. The ICC 2021 Rules entered into force on 1st of January 2021 and are applicable to resolve disputes and assure parties of a neutral framework for the resolution of their disputes with great benefits.
The ICC 2021 Rules make noticeable changes to the framework of ICC arbitration, while not altering its character. The ICC Court President Alexis Mourre said that they “mark a further step towards greater efficiency, flexibility and transparency of the Rules, making ICC Arbitration even more attractive, both for large, complex arbitrations and for smaller cases.”
